Check the boxes

I always tryed to do my best,
Trying to please all the rest.
I had my life planned in advance,
I could never take any chance.

I was meant to do only good,
Do no harm, but how I could?
I had to check all their boxes
Even I didn’t like the responses.

All I heard were do’s and don’ts,
And the worst were the won’ts.
To live up to their expectations
Was the dead off all relations.

Do always good, forget the wrongs,
Play right the game of life all along.
Try to check all the important boxes,
Make new ones that bring you happiness.

Live your life and love as you desire,
There are’nt other chances for hire.
Make sure the plan you are making
Is the road in life you plan on taking.
